Tbilisi Art Fair (TAF) is an annual international art exhibition hosted by Expo Georgia.
It’s usually divided into a number of sections, each placed in different pavilions.

In 2026, visitors could tap into the full spectrum of the contemporary art of the country and beyond it.
From the selected emerging artists independently presenting at the “Hive” section, through art-business collaborations and commissioned historical installations, to the huge hall with the key Georgian galleries, as well as a couple of invited institutions.

We would like to highlight a well-curated exhibition in ArtTent Tbilisi’s booth, named “Healing”.

ArtTent invited five female Georgian artists working on the theme of “Healing. Transformation. Becoming”.
Among them: Elene Rakviashvili, Tamar Gedevanishvili, Maka Jishkariani, Laka Popkhadze and Maka Zedelashvili.

They presented mostly new works by established Georgian artists, focusing on bringing a healing component into the crumbling world via their artistic expression.

Although the fair went quite well, based on the feedback we heard from the gallerists, it would be great to get a more curated approach next year, with regard to the specific themes and topics that the TAF could set for the artists, to make the experience more organic and attract the right collectors.
